A Melbourne strip club may face penalties for reportedly allowing a teenage girl to work in its cloakroom.
The Kittens strip club in South Melbourne allegedly employed a 16-year-old girl in the cloakroom, according to The Age.
A manager at the strip club denied the claim when contacted by Daily Mail Australia.
'We check every girl's ID before they work here,' said the manager, who would not give his name.

The alleged underage worker was in the care of the Department of Health and Human Services during the time of her reported employment, according to The Age.
A Victoria Police spokesperson declined to comment but the Victorian Commission for Gambling and Liquor Regulation confirmed the strip club was being investigated, although they would not elaborate on the specific details.
'The [VCGLR] is aware of the ongoing police investigation into Kittens. It is not appropriate for the [VCGLR] to comment on any ongoing investigations,' a spokesperson for the VCGLR told Daily Mail Australia.
Permitting an underage person on licensed premises carries maximum penalties of over $18,000 under Victoria's Liquor Control Reform Act 1998.
Kittens, an adult entertainment venue on Cecil Street in South Melbourne, and its sister location in the Caulfield South suburb, have both been targeted in violent attacks in recent years, the ABC has reported.
Last week, police raided 26 homes in an operation targeting the Comancheros bikie gang, which is believed to have been involved in multiple shootings and a bomb attack against the two clubs, according to the ABC.
